Because the fans were in uproar everytime villa played bad or went a goal behind, filling the phone ins with we should be doing better ect ect...

Not exactly hounding him out, but thought they should be doing better and were quick to get at the team/boss after a bad result or two....

What I don't get about posts like this is the notion fans ever sit there saying "yep, this is as good as it gets..." check out any football club forum including Utd and you'll find criticism of the manager. For years even when they started winning the league Fergie was getting grief - it's the nature of the beast.

The problem with just accepting is nothing will ever change, the idea of another 10 yrs like this with people continually saying "but remember the walter years and have I mentioned net spend?" is simply too much for mankind to endure - climate warming couldn't come fast enough.

I'm just impressed with Christiffa25s knowledge of Aston Villa fans actions .

Its like their fans are his version of damons finances. Well, it would be if he made them up and bored everyone to death with them for months at a time.

Imagine if United fans got their way.
Maybe the change should be at board level and not the manager. That you refuse to acknowledge the spend issue doesn't make it less relevant.

I ACKNOWLEDGE OVER MOYES TENURE HE HAS NOT HAD THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY TO SPEND AS OTHERS......
