It Dosent help that the manager has put the current owner in all sorts of trouble.
I'm no BK fan what-so-ever, but what's he supposed to do now ? Wait until May ? See if Davie fancies signing again ? Actively seek a replacement ?
You can give me all the ' within his rights to run his contract down ' all you like. He can do one for me.
David Moyes is not bigger than Everton Football Club.
I will miss all the trophies and Derby wins if he does go, don't get me wrong, but I have changed my opinion of him in the last 24 hours. Get beat today, he should resign.

It's the other way round. If he is not staying why should he sign a new contract ?

Oh, no doubt.
But he really must look for a replacement now ! Do you agree ?

Yep. Moyes has basically said he's off, in so many words, if we had anything about us we'd already have a list of wanted candidates and be sending the feelers out.

If nothing else if there is a lot of interest we'd be in a position to go back to Moyues and say sign now or you won't be offered the contract again.

Im more annoyed with both Moyes and Bill how they have let his contract run down. You would think its the sensible thing to do, i worry because he gave Walter Smith the job - id freak out if Mark Hughes got it - but i can see it happening.

Hes talked about it in a press conference as well which is bad form - im annoyed about that, basicaly if he doesnt have something lined up, then the subtext is im open to offers - leaves a bad taste in the mouth for me.

A press conference before a MASSIVE game as well.
Seriously not happy with him here.

moyes has saved kenwright's bacon so much in his tenure it's unreal. But we failed as a club to draw up a shortlist of more than, what? 5 players from august till the end of a jan, so i've not got any high hopes. The only good thing kenwright has done is attract moyes to our club, but serious question for you all on here, if moyes went and kenwright felt he had to follow him, would those hoping moyes stays want him to leave?

A couple of points, i think its very disrespectfull to the club and im a huge Moyes admirer and i worry when or if he goes - which i think he will. Secondly i dont like that he will leave for nothing, even if what a few million compo, it would be hugely benifical to a new manager who will obvioulsy want to bring in new players. Even if there is gentlemans agreement with Bill, that he can leave if an offer comes in from say a club in the CL financially in terms of the clubs welfare its a poor show.

Unbelievable. Everyone was expecting him to say something about his future this month as he had already said he would. The LACK of some mention about his future intentions was more annoying.

And he didn't call a press conference to make an announcement, he used his regular pre-match one to throw something in.

I didn't say he called a press conference FFS. He could have mentioned it on MNF or something.

I personally think he was promised money to spend in Jan, had to wait till the last 2 days, couldnt spend it and this is his way of saying Fck you to Bill.

possibly, but as far as we understand the money was there to spend, we turned down the chance to buy fer and kept getting bids knocked back for negredo. Pretty sure kenwright wouldn't have only told him 3 days before the end of the window that he had money to spend. Why weren't there other targets? they could both be blamed for the jan transfer failings

He intially said he would see how January went.

It clearly didnt go as he planned.

That January window opened more questions than answers for me. We weren't talking peanuts as far as bids were concerned, the lack of shortlisted players, the pulling if the plug at 7pm on the last day etc

Most don't think it meant much and the reasons were valid as to why we offer only signed a youth player. But to me there was more to it
