i like them both, obviously ljungberg is being eyed up as howards number two and bullard to partner yakubu up front

Bullard maybe, but isn't Ljungberg looking for a less stressful and more lucrative contract, ie a middle eastern or far eastern league?

In these times of high stress and desperation, I'd agree Bullard could do a job for us, Ljungberg has had his greatest days being a footballer and would do nothing more than warm the physio's couch (shame really because he was once a pretty decent player)

Wouldn't mind Bullard as a squad player. One of the high quantity players Moyes was talking about a couple of months ago. Wouldn't mind having him as an option on the bench. Think he could do a great job, when injuries/suspensions/tiredness to our top players start to kick in. No way as a starting eleven.

Ljunberg, no way. Think he's finished and proved that at West Ham.

As much as it hurt me to say it as a Swede.. Ljungberg is a definite no. He's injured alot and is starting to get a big head and think he's a world-class player and therefore wants that salary.

I'd say yes to both. I said I would like Bullard on here early May.

Ljungberg on the right wages would be out to prove a point.

What papers said this?

Get in Bullard and go back and up the Joe Ledley bid (it was clearly us last week!) he's as good as Ljngberg at the moment and is on the up - not with his best days behind him.

Throw in David Clarkson from Motherwell & Hib's Lewis Stevensen and we'll be fine.

Disappointed and still the tiniest bit hopeful that a big name will arrive, but we need to bolster numbers if nothing else.
