He's a tit. He says he wants to stay at Rennes, then says we've bid for him, that he's coming for a medical. Now he doesnt want to hand a transfer request in?

[Poor language removed] him. He sounds like a clown and too much hassel.

Move on.

he has already stated his reason for moving to everton is financially motivated.

i guess handing in a transfer request would see him missing out on a wedge of cash.

once again.. it's money ruining the game.

He's only 20 odd years old!! He sounds to me like he's got a big head - one of those "I'm the best player in the squad" ego's you get, believes he's something special and wants paying for it -- Belongs at Newcastle.
 
Move on to who? There aren't many other options and it's a bit late to be changing our minds.

Mbia is a player I am confident will be here, once he's back from the Olympics we'll get him.

The quotes I've been reading from him make me feels he's got an ego and a bit arrogant. He's come out personally and said Everton have bid 6mill for me, Moyes is great, I want to move.

Then he says, again not through an agent or club, that he wants to stay at Rennes for another year to be loyal --

"Listen, all the world knows that Everton and Sevilla are after me," M'Bia said. "But I have a contract with Rennes and I do understand that Rennes want to keep me. My contract with the club expires in June 2010, however, I am staying this year because I have a good relationship with Rennes. Next year maybe I will want to further my career, but I need to respect Rennes. They gave me the platform to be who I am."

Nobody at Rennes has said anything to my knowledge and its all coming out of his mouth.

I've never heard of player openly talk about his own transfer as much as he has.

How strange that some people focus on negative rumours and class them as fact, yet positive rumours are classed as bullshit. They are still rumours all the same, are they not?


It is strange how things can get twisted depending on the context that it gets used.

I don't think he said the second bit to be honest, I think he's been misquoted. His dad said he wanted him to move to Everton, as did Mbia. He wants to move on and further his career but he's not going to force them to sell by handing in a transfer request, he's respectful.

1. rumour has it all our transfer targets have turned us down.
2. rumour has it we will be signing all of our targets before the window.
