oops ! Sorry ! I did of course mean Live Nation. Thats what comes of conducting a political conversation on facebook at the same time as following this thread, when youre 71. Back on topic...I don't think Bills income from his day job makes the slightest difference to Evertons finances ....although ages ago on Bluekipper I remember suggesting that Phil Green investing in Bills shows(which allegedly he does) might be a way for him to discreetly and indirectly 'help' Everton.

We probably have as we are almost certainly spending money knowing we either finance it with Champions league tv money or the sale of Fellaini in the summer. We know we sell to buy, have done for years. For once we are in a decent position to gamble for a few months knowing either way we should be fine. Not like we are spending like Liverpool have again is it?

That's what he says every time a fee is agreed and a player is in talks but hasn't quite signed yet, he never elaborates beyond that until it's a done deal, I mean it's obvious that they 'hope' he can help us or they would be pissing Â£8m into the wind ffs.
