Kevin and Chebe up front

Not an option. Like Fellaini getting played up there it weakens the midfield too much. Fellaini>>>Neville as a centre midfielder when we have other forward options just like Mirallas>>>>Naismith or Anichebe on the wing. Nice idea if we had depth in the squad but we don't so wasting any midfielders as forwards while Gibson is perpetually injured and Neville is Neville is a bad idea imo.

Not for me....not because I don't think it would work but our RW has been soooo poor and unbalanced whilst he's mirallas has been out, I just wanna see him back there.

Now if we also had Donovan in the squad to play RW, then yeah sure it's something I'd like to see. But we havnt so *sigh*

Mirallas up front means Naismith on the right. With no Coleman the right side is toothless. Although i do think super Kev is ball greedy enough to be a forward, possibly not suited to the wing cos he wants to score himself, not pass it.

Yes.

I'd play something like this :

Howard
Neville/coleman Jags Distin Baines
Oviedo Fellaini Osman Pienaar
Mirallas
Anichebe.

I'd also be starting Anichebe in the next few games and give Jelavic a rest / drop.

I would play this against Bolton
......................Howard.....................
...Coleman.....Jag....Distin..........Baines...
.....................Fellaini...........................
....Mirallas.....Osman............Pienaar.........
...............Jelevic...Vic.....................

I'd like to see him wide. Anichebe played better the other night when Jelavic was still on the field as it meant Anichebe had more space to run the channels and his link up play was good. As soon as Jelavic went off they just crowded Anichebe out and we started hitting long balls. As bad as Jelavic's miss was, his work rate and hold up play hasn't been too bad, he may enjoy a bit more freedom from defenders if Anichebe plays alongside him against Bolton. Also with Felli a bit further back in that system, it would mean Jelavic may get the ball earlier, as currently everything goes through Felli when he plays and Jelavic has suffered as a result. Whereas last season Jelavic was the guy everyone was trying to pass to and he thrived on it.

It'd be a fairly attacking line-up away from home in a cup match, so I'd be amazed if Moyes went that way, but with Mirallas out wide and Anichebe playing off Jelavic it may provide us with some great link-up play in the final third, with the chances likely to fall for strikers rather than midfielders.

Its good to have options, its no harm mixing it up as teams have cottoned onto us a bit in the last month, Southampton whole game plan during the week was to nulify Baines, Pienaar and Coleman and it worked a treat. Belg Kev is coming back at the right time.

Mirallas isn't a midfielder though, he's a forward, plays as a winger or striker and played as a striker plenty for Olympiakos.
