You're being the pedantic one if you think you don't go the match to watch Everton but to buy a seat.

The regs are like no smoking in the bogs, don't bring cameras in, stuff like that. They are not law.

The regs are not the reason you go the match. You go the match to watch Everton, otherwise why not go tomorrow morning when no match is on?

Plus define persistant, sit down once quickly during a match so that it's not persistant?

No smoking is not regs...it's the law.

Standing at the game is not against regs, it's against the law.

You're correct on the smoking. There's loads of other regs though that aren't law that I should have used as examples. Cba looking for other examples, I think bringing a radio in the match is another one actually!

As said and put down before the law says seated accomodation not that you have to sit down.

You pay to watch Everton from a seated position. Fact. That's what you agree to when you buy the ticket.

Don't like it ? Don't go the game. But don't moan when other people don't stand up.

If you want to stand and everyone else isn't then [Poor language removed] off to the back and stand there, you don't even sing anyway. STANDING=SINGING IS A MYTH
The tits who are proper arsed about standing are usually the victims anyway, just jib it an go to the back if everyone else isn't standing.

Ah I get you, it's okay to break the law in some away games but in others it's unacceptable. That's my bad, dunno what I was thinking...

I like the way you think Brennan. *sexy face*

I'm no victim. It was my fault. You're a victim. Your name is Steven Naismith.

I pay to watch Everton from a seated accomodation. My designated area just has to have a seat, the law does not say I have to sit in that seat. The law probably says there must be toilet facilities at the match it does mean I have to take a dump at the match.

In terms of moaning about others not standing up. I'm not. I accept that others like to sit. I said on a post before about not being to justify standing at aways due to kids, height, immobile fans.

Yes I prefer standing but that does not mean I can always justify it.

But the ground regulations do, which you agree to obey when you buy the ticket. It's not hard to understand.

Correct. Singing's a by-product of good games, good performances and important matches. People stand more when it's tense and when we're doing well in an important game. Not for the sole purpose of creating an atmosphere. I think it allows for more singing and more noise, but without the spark provided on the pitch, there wouldn't be the increase in volume. Plenty of sets of fans stand for long periods at Goodison and elsewhere without singing, anyway.
