Ben Arfa: compared us to QPR

The guy is off his trolley QPR & Everton - Good God. He also says Arsenal & Chelsea were in contact but he decided to stay with the Barcodes Mmmmmm Let me see Go to the European Champions or Arsenal in the Capital and get bucket loads of cash, or play relegation football under Pardew - No brainer really Newcastle it is then !!

LOL He's a silly mercenary blert who will be off like a shot in the summer if they go down, and probably even if they stay up too.

Not even a top player.

I don't get the problem ?

He said clubs like QPR and Everton are great and can make players happy, but he has ambition and wants to win trophies.

When was the last time we won a trophy ? What ambition have our owners shown to drive us forward ?

Think the 'comparison' between us and QPR is something he never made, he probably just picked two non CL sides out of the air and used them as an example. If anything you could make a claim for QPR showing more amibition relative to their position. They're trying desperately to stay up in the PL while we've more or less stagnated into being the best of the rest.

Mountain out of a mole hill, again.

Newcastle United have won European and domestic league honours. The club's last major honour was in 1969 when they won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup

Last FA Cup: 1955

Last top flight title: 1927

Plus I'm sure we'd be showing as much ambition to stay in the league if we were as poor as QPR. Not being in a relegation battle but not being in a title chase doesn't mean you have any more or less ambition than the clubs who are.

Last year we finished 7th and they finished 17th. I'd think we're more likely to improve on that position then they are, tbh.

Not sure what your point is mate ? He pretty much states openly that he's interested in a move away from Newcastle precisely because they haven't won anything.

'If we sign players we can catch up with them (arsenal and chelsea)' Pretty much a statement of intent right there. Buy more good players or i'm off.
