WTF? Dunc, for your information, other members do get infractions/bans for using swear words. They just don't make an issue by bitching and whining about it.
Who's considered high maintenance?

Yep been there.
And to be fair, we hate dishing out infractions for 'saying a naughty word' but as per reasoning - it's for the good of the forum.
I know actual swear words are frowned upon. But will the acronyms we use, mainly in jest, be regarded in the same way ?
'FFS', and the like, is ok. It doesnt sour the forum, and it doesn't make Google hate us.
Asterisks and the default swear filter is no excuse mind.

I have been infracted for bad language by Dutch. Less swearing makes this forum a better place. Posters using letters with accents to prevent vetting of swear words is bad from too.
Clarification, even though I've already said as much:
I'm not against the policy!
It is pretty standard, as far as forums go. So, I will start to report infraction-able material. To me, many posts in the politics and NSFW topics are against the rules, even though I don't personally find them offensive. I am just confused by the categorizations so was looking for an example.
