Should have been in the middle years ago. Class player, him and Arteta were a great partnership. That sequence a few seasons back were we beat Man U and Chelsea at home with a midfield of Pienaar Arteta Osman and Donovan was amazing. Osman is quality and also shows it in the big games. He's carried Neville and hitzlsperger with him all seaosn and gave the RS the run aorund in the derby, something Everton midfielders even of the calibre of Arteta struggled to do in the past.

Been outstanding this season as a natural CM. would he have been so 5yrs ago?? I don't think so... But we'll never know I guess. Even back then though he always looked better at ACM than on the wing. Versatility can obviously go against you!

Some might say he's been taking one for the team for several years now.
Iv found a new love and respect for ossie this year.
