Wyness - Resigned

My first reaction would be why would Wyness care if money was being invested in players, surely his role is in the buissness end of things. He was CEO of Aberdeen for years and they never had a pot to piss in, mischeif making if you ask me!
Im no fan of the fat bald man but it stinks of spin on evertons behalf to be honest

Moyes!!!

I’ve heard a rumour going around that Man United are too approach Everton on speaking to Moyes about taking the role of assistant manager...

Has anyone close to the club heard this??

Hmm,

First Post Bollocks.

I'm sure it's curable, usually with a kick up the arse out the door.

Anyone see Wyness on SSN just now. Getting a taxi somewhere, (stock footage I reckon) and he waited for his change, typical [Poor language removed] Scot.

Yea and i heard he was gonna take Cahill, Arteta and Lescott with him, also Goodison Park was too be included in the deal and Finch Farm on Loan for the rest of the season.

In other words, DONT BE SO STUPID.

Why on earth would he leave to be somebodys puppy?

It's been around for ages, even I said it months ago regarding the ground move getting called in might send him that way.

But.....I dont think he would. Cant see him dropping everything (preseason, transfers, contracts etc) to go and be an assistant manager. He turned that job down before.

And anyway, there'd be big rumours in the papers because its Man United
if he was considered.

Cos he's getting some of the flak, also because he recognises that they affect each other. If we spend a bit then chances are that we get success, and financial rewards. Without spending, lower position, less income. He'll want us to do well otherwise fingers can be pointed at him.

well i heard this news yesterday morning but thought it was just a load of bull.(llitterally lol)
the fact that he quit by email rather than face to face , the fact the timing is so poor and lastly the fact the club have been rather blunted in there response , tells me that something has gone major wrong.

the question is , did he leave becouse of a problem or becouse of an opportunity ?
if it was a problem , is the problem with the club or him ?

(could it have anything to do with us using that super agent ?)

wether i think wyness was a good exec or a bad one is irrelevant at this time and im certainly not going to be dumb enough to celebrate the fact the club has no cheif exec at the moment.

ever watched the film airplane ?
well wyness was our stryker , he wasnt brilliant but he was the only person onboard 'capable' of flying the plane.
if stryler wasnt on the plane then it wouldnt have been a comedy it would have been a tragedy as the plane would have crashed and burnt.

the good jet everton now has no pilot(even a bad one) , i just hope we dont now crash and burn aswell.

"surley you cant be serious ????"

yes i am serious ,.......and dont call me shirley.

ps theres a distinct smell of fish on the site this week.:)
welcome to all ex kippers.(y)

Dont call me Shirley!!

Anyway its cool, we can just hit auto pilot and that big fat rubber man will come out and fly for us?( or was that airplane2?) So no real change.
