I can see why discussions on politics etc such as these are banned. Every one of them descends into a complete farce. Either it's "look at me, I'm proper knowledgeable and a boss debater, I'm defo not googling everything I'm saying and passing it off as my own knowledge" or "Oh my God, that person said something offensive, here's my chance to make myself look good on the internet by putting them down, for I am above such nonsense".
This thread encapsulates quite a lot of the above. Just ignore the f*cking loons, like Seamus rightly will. If they can be brought to justice for it, great, but I don't see the need for everyone to get pissed off about some children on the internet.

Don't think anybody is getting pissed off, but it's annoying that it makes Evertonians in general look bad.

It only makes the club look bad to people who take this kind of utter garbage seriously. I wouldn't judge Liverpool fans if it'd been kopites spouting this tripe and I don't have time for anyone who would (who these people support is pretty much irrelevant, to me). I'd probably just dislike twitter more as it gives the ability to reach players and abuse them while still offering no good way to moderate itself.

I'm Irish and live close to Donegal while the stuff about being a gypo and pikey is very offensive and he would have heard about it if it's in some sort of Donegal daily from his family and friends i'm certain he would not pass to much heed about it. It's not like footballers don't get abuse on twitter. I'm a big Coleman fan as he came thru my hometown club Sligo Rovers but he was at fault big time on Saturday some of the comments made i think i made myself i.e. poor defending etc etc Time for us all to move on and get 3 points off Norwich.
a lot of players have made mistakes all season. unfortunately we have some blues acting like kopites, and its a minority, come saturday we will be willing him on.
