He had a good first half to be honest. Neat and tidy, some nice passing and worked harder than he usually does. He also looked slim for once aswell.

Ossie said he's come back hungry and wants to be part of the team this season. As someone said it's his year.

i'd like to think that IF(AND IT'S A BIG IF) he turns it around this year then it will be down to the constructive criticism that has been levelled at him on this very forum, and of which i have played a part.

if VDM gets fully match fit, injury and coke free...he will do for me, few decent moments here and there, hitting byline and putting a decent ball in, classic winger activity which we havent seen in a long time.

rodwell, (some will snigger here) has similarities to Nyarko hopefully a better attitude, tall lad, composed on the ball etc, could be a decent player in a year or so.

Agree about the coke. Although it's better than lager, maybe Lucozade sport would be better still. What do you think, viewers?

Not sniggering, just wondering what you mean. Nyarko, for all the nonsense about "Viera without the attitude" couldn't tackle to save his life. Indeed the amount of times I've seen him pull out of a tackle (as per Mr Hoddle) turned me against him before his nonsense racism claims.

Could you substantiate your asesrtion?
