Naismith? Thoughts?

Looks overpriced on a free to me

Based on every competitive game for Everton so far.

I thought he played well V Villa.

P.S Did Naisy sleep with davek's wife?

Naismith will be a success here, I've saw him play from a young age, at 15 as well as the Old Filth a host of Premiership teams wanted him, at 18 he had a trial with Arsenal, 90% of the Rangers fans I know(sadly too many!) rate him higher than Jelavic.

Haha Davek's wife must get around a lot.
But yeah he's no winger like, say Mirallas can be.

He looks shocking to me, hope he proves me wrong but if we'd of shelled out money for him my opinion would probably be different.

Unfortunatly he did cost a signing on fee and he sucks up wages...and there could be a sting in the tail if FIFA rule in favour of te club he walked out on. All told, he'd be costing the thick end of £10M in the course of a three year contract.

I realise you're protective of your Kilmarnock 'kid goals', but dont resort to personal insults eh lad?

I'm not crucifying him yet, but certainly from his early performances he needs to improve a hell of a lot. Most worryingly is that he doesn't seem to know what to do with the ball at his feet

Even if he played for another SPL team I'd say the same, sorry about the wife "joke" but you do seem to criticise him a lot.

He's not alone. I don't rate him either.

I know he looked half decent in a Rangers side that were snotting everythin in front of them but I've never thought he was Premier League standard, certainly not top half anyway. Maybe at a Sunderland or Fulham but not Everton.

He looked like a combative type of player when he played for Rangers & looked a good player, but most players look good in Scotland against inferior opposition!

i'm a rangers season ticket holder and i firmly believe the jelavic/naismith combination will work for everton in the EPL. you've managed to sign two very good players.

What you have to remember about Naismith is that he got injured late October last season and has only just started playing again so he'll need time. he had a similar injury 5 maybe 6 years ago and it took a while to recover from that.
