I'd prefer to see him in midfield though. Our LB position is never going to be filled with anybody aside from Baines but pienaar is flexible enough to play central, right or even behind the striker if Ovideo comes in and does well in midfield.

Thought he was dreadful to be honest, gave the ball away cheaply on more than one occasion. Looked more comfortable as the game went on.

I'll be honest, I thought he was blowing hot & cold at best tonight. Some nice movement, but some of his touches and distribution was really poor at times.

Thought he was okay, he will put in better performances im sure of that. Thought in the first half Gueye didnt help him out at all, for someone making his first start they will need all the help they can get and Gueye gave him nothing.
