ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

It was utter ar3e. A few laugh at the cringeyness moments but basically dross. I stopped watching when they said "Steven Gerrard is widely acknowledged as being one of England's greatest ever midfielders"

Aye, when it comes to those who run over kids and punch out DJ's, he's in a class by himself.

Time for a cold, sharp reality check, lids.

You just know, KNOW, that they'll ride out this storm. They'll do West Brom in the cup - upturning a 100% home record into the bargain - and then go over to Naarch and nail the 3 points. The buck-toothed diver will probably score a couple of sizzlers.

Then they're off and running.

It is the way. Always.

He dived during that game and won a free kick rubbing his head repeatedly when it hadn't been touched so he continues to 'seek to gain an advantage' or if you prefer 'cheat' , if thats your style don't complain if sometimes people don't believe you. Allowing Previous behaviour to influence you seems reasonable to me , if Gary glitter had child porn on his computer but says its was an 'accident ' wouldn't it be reasonable to consider his previous or if somebody on the pitch claimed Suarez racially abused them ? If suarez didn't dive ever again then he could rightly point o that but you can't dive then 20 minutes later say 'everyone thinks I'm a diver'

Like isaid I worry you may be right and you might be but similar predictions were made prior and during Sundays game (I felt the same) but it never happened so fingers crossed.

Anyway, bollocks to them fools.

We're doing alright for ourselves, so we should be enjoying our own ride more than bothering about them. Although it is a decent little distraction, I admit ;-)

Just to maintain the mood Some more joe Allen opinions and yep it is an amusing distraction

He really is top class.

We've had a very disruptive start to the season with red cards, Lucas' injury and games against the top three last season.

But the lad never looks overawed. He's come into a new side, and pretty much shown himself to be indispensable already.

If this is him still trying to gel and adapt, I can't wait to see him in full flow.

We've got a fantastic player on our hands for many years to come.

"Joe Allen - Maestro", says it all really. Although Gerrard was many people's man of the match, I thought Allen was outstanding yet again. He is a complete midfielder. Carrick and Giggs hardly got a touch when it was 11 v 11. Absolutely ****ing boss!

Been our best player so far, with Sterling and Johnson. When Lucas is back, we will have ludicrous amounts of control over the midfield.

Watched him closely yesterday from the Main Stand this lad is going to be one of our best midfielders of all time, class act

To be fair the rs did have a hard start to the season, Man u, Man city and arsenal, the bonus is they usually get points from their fa cup finals.

Liverpool are becoming concerned that Suárez’s behaviour last season is being used against him by referees, and captain Steven Gerrard is adamant that he is becoming the victim of a witch-hunt.

@glenn-itsokinMontevideosoit'sokbyme Ever thought of maybe telling him to cut it out ?

from daves link......

Considering the injustice of a wretched decision, Liverpool’s protests were reasonably restrained.

Liverpool don’t expect special treatment from the authorities.
They just want to be treated fairly but so far this season that hasn’t been the case.

There seem to be a lot of chickens coming home to roost over there at the moment, any more and Venky's might start taking notice*.

*avoids 'waiting in the wings', 'this might have legs' etc etc etc.

I saw this before.

I mean, what do they really expect? If you're a cheat then whenever the referee has any doubt he's more inclined to think you're cheating.

You've brought it on yourself you ugly [Poor language removed]. Now get to an orthodontist you horse gobbed [Poor language removed].

Wow. I'm feeling so much hate for Libderpewl at the moment.

I don't know how they do it, but they always manage to make themselves the victim. Suarez is a dirty, racist cheat who has proved so practically every match. And they have the gall after one penalty decision against him to come out with that?

Remember that season Andy Johnson had about 12 stonewall penalties turned down? He appealed for none of them.
