Getting promoted under Keegan with mostly a gang of nobodies they blitzed the Prem with great football and the fans came back, I'd say they were the last unfancied club to show true ambition.

Yeh they're a bit of a circus but at least they don't send you to sleep.

Think they've had 2 sub 10000 gates in their post war league history if you care enough. I remember Everton had a 13,000 in the Premier League under Mike Walker. Southampton game I think? Newcastle's attendances are basically unrivalled given the fact they've won nothing in 2 generations.

and how many sub 10,000 gates have we had ? I missed that bit, oh i see we had a 13k one, some 30% bigger than the 10k that they fell below, figures can be worked any way you like.
 
It's bad that my first ever football shirt was a Newcastle one. It was bought for me by my Geordie sister when I was too young to have a choice.

It was blue though!
 

we'll finish above them this season no doubt. they seriously got out of jail. if jelly didnt get injured in the 2nd minute, we could have racked up 5 or 6 there. bigger than us, laughable, absolutely laughable, there are a lot of smaller teams than us that are bigger than newcastle, i.e. villa, forest, leeds
 
Am i right in thinking they didnt take th top tier tonight? I sit in upper bullens so couldnt quite see. But if they didn't, thats laughable.
