I think he is brilliant. Something like a car wreck where I can't take my eyes off of him because it just doesn't make any sense. Still, the guy does nothing but produce and I am completely baffled by his lack of fist team play, especially to Kuyt (who looks exciting but doesn't produce).

I'd take him in a minute especially because i think where ever he goes he'll do well, especially against his old team. He may very well be worth 15mil.

Defo not worth 15M but neither was Bent. Plus with idiot teams splashing cash all over the place with no rhyme or reason (Hammers, NUFC) I can understand the price tag.

He is a maddening player. Cant use his head for crap, except for flick ons in route 1 football. I hate to say it he really is good with his feet though. Not sure if he'd improve us but I for the life of me can't understand why Kuyt starts ahead of him not that I'm complaining.

i think i read on some site, that portsmouth initial bid was rejected at 7 mill, then i read again that the actual asking price is going to be nearer 8-9 mill...no one is going to pay much higher than that, so in that case the [Poor language removed] will either have to keep hold of him, or sell him on for the lower amount. From what i heard he wants to go to pompey to link up with redknap

I knew we'd agree on something eventually!

How soon people forget the style of "football" we were served up with Duncan the galoot up front.

Anyway, he's valued by that Benitez nobhead at £15M!!!

What, do you actually support Everton, Duncan the galloot, WTF, maybe the style of footy we played at the time wasn't the most attractive but thats down to the gaffer not the most prolific number 9 we've had since Sharpy(n)

Agreed. What gets lost with Crouch is he can hurt you with his feet not just his beanpole heading. If the midfield situation doesn't work out and we all know we are good for hoof ball every now and then he would be a good target in a 4-5-1 away from home.

Plus I've always like Longshanks as his nickname.
