Victor Anichebe! Is he even good enough for Wigan?

what annoys me is Rodwell was shipped out in less time than Vic, who has never, ever ever EVER come close to showing the kind of potential we knew Rodwell had, Rodwell is an established u21 and now full england international, he has a lot to learn, but the fact Vic stays is beyond reason.

If city offered us 15 mill for vic he would go.
Thought before the Nolan horror show he was looking the dogs, especially against Villa who he terrorised.

We are talking about Wigan, the club who last season played Connor Salmon for 9 consecutive games to try and see if he could make it, when everyone else could see before he even signed, he would never be good enough for the premier league.

Connor Salmon, Di Santo, Boselli, need I go on?

Martinez signings leave alot to be desired.

cant stand him, if we were to sell him though we would have to bring someone else in for cover. but i would rather anyone than vic tbh, attitude is terrible and he just isnt very good

His attitude is apparently appalling and he's not very talented. I'd hardly be gutted if we got shut.

He (sadly?) remains one of the few Everton players I've met in the flesh, though. I bumped into him and his mates/family on the way up from Wembley Central station to the stadium for the cup semi in 2009. He was on crutches at the time. He'd supposedly had that massive barney with Moyes around that time as well, so my mate sensitively bellowed "How come you didn't travel down with the team, Vic? Are you still in the doghouse?" at him, before I offered to give him a piggyback to the ground, seeing as his leg was still bad. Unsurprisingly, he declined the offer, but he did shake our hands and was amiable enough. I did also offer the charming comment of "Keep your chin up, lad - Nolan's a dirty ****house yard-dog Kopite [Poor language removed], but you'll get the chance to do him in the future", but that didn't seem to cheer him up much.

big vic is way way too good for wigan hopefully he stays with us and bangs 10 to 12 goals this year which he,s more than capable of

no mitch ward carl tiler stephen hughes they have been ****e for the club vic had and still has massive potential hopefully its here but if not he,l be a top player where ever he ends up

We were talking about his "potential" 7 seasons ago when he first came on the scene and he's still f*cking rubbish, if he still can't garner a place in the starting XI of an admittedly thin squad like Everton after 7 bloody seasons it shows you all you need to know, the lads happy to earn a totally unjustified wage sitting on the floor with his hands on his head.

And don't give me that injury sh*te, any player worth a toss will come back from an injury and keep his standards high unlike this beaut.

What's worse is a manager with a famous intolerance for players who don't adhere to his script has kept this f*cker on for 7 years and had the audacity to offer him a much improved contract.
