Love it when the ball goes in the air and it's like he says to the defenders:
"Hold on a minute, I know you want to head this but just wait while the magnet on my chest plucks it out of the sky. You can try and tackle me once I've turned this forcefield off."
I dont think you can compare him to scholes. Scholes can't dominate a scrappy game when the ball is pinging around in the air over people's heads. Because MF is so tall and fabulous at dragging the ball out of the air with chest or feet (which prob makes him look gangly but normal people wouldn't even get a foot on some of the balls felli drags down) I'd have felli any day over scholes. I would say the only player I'd have over felli is toure (the good one)
I had a perusal of some random forums and the general consensus seems to be that most neutrals are rating him as highly as us now, or almost.
Some blerts on a Chelsea forum being plastic entitled nobs as always.
Sland fans being largely sound and continuing to bum Felli (they've had a big thread on him there for ages after he bummed them in a game a while ago).
Arsenal fans loving it.
Many United fans seem to rate him to be honest.
The one thing I hate though is the vehemently argued opinions you find from some neutrals that clearly don't watch him outside of the occasional Sky Sports game and MotD. I've seen a few "he's inconsistent", "he's crap at CM" and worse comments. I wish I could reach through the interwebs and slap these fools, before schooling them on Fellaini's brilliance.
Oh well. I kind of liked it when only we rated Fellaini. It made me feel more sure that he wouldn't leave us.
to think that liverpool just bought Allen for 15M is ridiculous, yes i know Felli is 25 and Joe 22 but i really dont see Allen coming close to MF in three years time...
I wasn't mate, I was just saying that Fellaini could easily slot into the United midfield and be a key player as they have nobody to compare to him. Which is a bizarre thing to say without any bias whatsoever about an Everton player. Even Arteta in his pomp, I couldn't have hand on hear said he'd walk into any midfield in the Premier League, because he couldn't. Fellaini genuinely could.
Imagine if City had Yaya Toure and Marouane Fellaini rampaging every game. They'd take the title at a canter...
I'm glory bumming myself a little bit over Fellaini because I fancied him.
Still trending #1 on Twitter Worldwide
HahahahaWhat's kinda' funny about Felli is you could catch him on the stationary bike tomorrow at FF, tell him that, and then he'd do the lip, the shrug and probably say something like "I'm 5 miles, riding...is good for Everton".
He is the enigma, wrapped inside a hairball of mystery...
