I had 3 unconfirmed heart attacks during that and may have had a stroke.

i love Everton.

WHATS OUR NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry mate, after that game I'm sure you won't be the only one!! :)

Fellaini was outstanding, superb performances from Distin Baines Jags and Hibbert.
Lets be honest here we worked de Gea far more than they worked Howard.

And don't forget Ossie's shot off the bar...

Fantastic performance by the players and yet again Moyes proves how good he is

Haha, not wanting to be a downer on the night, but 'how good he can be'! But more of that and less of 1st game last season and I will love him again!

I understand that we're a big club and all and that we shouldn't get too fappy because we beat Man U but I'm very proud of them tonight. I'm especially proud of Felli, he proved tonight that he can walk onto the starting 11 of most clubs in the world...and he's ours. :)

This. Great result, but for us it should be more of an expectation to be met, not a suprise celebration..

Idiot presenter on Fellaini: 'what is he? - forward a midfielder?'

Gary Neville: 'he's a footballer'

LOVE THAT

Can I somehow +rep G Nev? Maybe I#ll just rep Neville in his place!

You have to laugh,

Sky Sports spent an hour before the game jizzing all over Utd with their gadgets and knobs.

Post game analysis all Everton!

Something strangely satisfying in that.

My stream cut off just when Neville started talking about where Felli had his touches. What else did they talk about/say??

9/10 for the ref (Marriner) booked Nani and Scholes early and set a standard that no one else got near.

At a time of such awful officiating it is only right to say "job well done" when the man in black gets it right.

Thought in the 2nd half he favoured them slightly, and should have booked Vidic near the end there for a blatent yellow offense...

Fellaini was incredible. Best performance from him in a blue shirt tonight. I've always said he's wasted up there as he's one of the best defensive mids in the world, but my god he's unplayable at times at attacking mid.

A few observations.

- We just looked ready, up for it, settled. Like everyone knew their job and there was no uncertainty. Benefits of a settled side with a manager who may just have that fire in his belly again.

- The back four were immense, I actually think Baines was the poorest out of the four but still had a good game. Jagielka was superb and his couple of slide tackles, the clearance off the line and overall positioning looked great.

- Wont be a popular thing to say but Neville had a good game, made numerous tackles and both he and Gibson worked tirelessly. Played few nice decisive passes going forward and didnt stop working. People will already be saying he had a crap game without even probably seeing it.

- Fellaini, what can you say...Pretty much covered every blade of grass. The ball was like a magnet to that magnificent chest and his overall play on the deck and in the air was fautless. The only header he lost was when Vidic almost mugged him and got his wallet in the process of going through him- no foul.

- Jelavic was quiet but still worked hard and put a shift in.

Did anyone else notice how skinny Vidic looked?! He seemed about 1/2stone under weight...

Great performance, if we can add a couple more to fill the squad with real quality I dont want to knee jerk but we could have a very decent season.

Marriner

Two yellows early kept the game disciplined.

In a society that is so tough on those policing the line between right and not right, tonights ref show and his associates deserves applause.

Well done.

the BBC had it around 43-46%... we did have more shots on goal than them though, certainly the better chances

Oh definitely. But that last 20 minutes or so is where we need to improve.

Doesnt matter who were play, we need to keep the ball. We've the players to do that

some of that possession defecit would have been in the last 10 mins when we hardly touched it apart from hoofing it forward but we were fooked by then on a warm evening. I'm not complaining. Loved Gibbo singing to GOT after the whistle too. Felli is priceless to us. We cant afford to sell him. Sorry rodders, you aint in his class mate
