Cant find the officials thread

9/10 for the ref (Marriner) booked Nani and Scholes early and set a standard that no one else got near.

At a time of such awful officiating it is only right to say "job well done" when the man in black gets it right.
 

So I sneaked out to watch the game at a local bar. Thought I'd leave and watch 2nd half online if we were getting beat.

Bugger me! What a game! A top performance for 1st game of the season and to be honest - what an advert for the Premier League. I was sat next to some Croation fella - he was loving it! Tells me EPL is the best in the world. You have teams like us that on their day can beat anyone!

Love the blues! Love the EPL! Loving the fact that football is back!

rest up and prepare for a tough battle at villa park, get 3 points there and we can dream maybe

should hopefully have brought in one more player by then.

A perfect performance all round... dominating attacks, diagonal cross-field balls, holding the shape at the back, tight man-marking, superb tackling, controlling the arial battles. United didn't have a clue how to cope with this tonight. And as for Fellaini... simply amazing both in attack and positioning, constantly winning the ball and causing a nuisance.

I have to admit though, I am not looking forward to our visit to Goodison on the 28th November, your fans are in top voice this season and Moyes and his boys can hold their heads high for that performance. Well done!
