Just to let you all know.If there is a medical tomorrow,it is not all done at FF.Anyone who knows their salt knows, that part of the medical for any player has always been done at Spire Hospital (formerly known as Lourdes Hospital) opposite Greenbank park.So if he is not at FF you know where he might be.

Oh yeah?

I saw Roy Hodgson there once in the week before the derby. The receptionist said 'good luck for Saturday, Mr Hodgson', and he replied 'well it's Sunday actually', then laughed when I shook my head and said goodbye to me despite us not saying a word. Sound guy, Roy. He didn't smell of piss, either, contrary to popular rumours.

But yeah, er, medicals...

Except not for every player. There was one or two done in the mid-00's in Manchester. Pembridge was deffo Manchester IIRC.I'm completely making this up.

Latest from Greece is - that no contact has been made between Everton and Olympiacos. There has been no formal bid.

Apparently Everton are working with the players agent to understand the fee that would be required but haven't be able to strike a deal.

The player is expected to train with Olympiakos today as per normal.

Having said all that, if a deal can be reached things will move quickly as personal terms are agreed.
