Completely unrelated. Machado is a central midfielder, signed today by olympiakos after months of flirting - money was already set aside for him i believe. He will sit in the middle and help Maniatis. Olympiakos on ground level will be shocked if this happens as the only obvious replacement will be Fetfatzidis who coaches seem to be afraid to play or the even younger Vlachodimos. However as you alluded to Marinakis, the boss, is the one who makes these decisions and if he gives the OK, the rest will be written in stone.

He is a very technically strong and fast winger who thrives in the right environment. Seen him play most of his games at olympiakos. He can play either wing or as a striker. I would say heading is the weakest part of his game. He has potential and he has somewhat thrived in Greece - however it will be fascinating to see if he can make that leap. Someone like Fetfatzidis can always find magic. I have seen one or two games against stronger teams where Mirallas has been quiet. A positive about him is he tries like mad.
