Pienaar

Happy that Pienaar is coming back but sad that his little London adventure is going to cost us £1.5m in net transfer fees. Maybe we'll make it up with a slightly lower wage.

What's clear to me is that Pienaar really wants to be here now. No more wandering eyes. Everyday he'll be hustlin'.

Hopefully he will be hustlin' and not become lazy. He certainly had somehting to prove after 'arry benched him , when he came back here in January - hopefully he doesn't feel like this deal is his swansong and he just has to collect the cash. what a different player he is from the guy who was drowning in Dortmund a few years ago.....

Don't see the transfer fee confirmed anywhere... is it really £4.5 million? It can't be that ridiculous...oh wait, it's Everton!

Ive yet to see Pienaar ever give anything less than 100% in EVERY single game hes played for Everton.

I see no reason why that would change.

So I've read through this - skimmed through it....have we officially signed Pienaar yet? I'm thinking we have, but I'm a little slow on the uptake with the jargon going on. Help!

medical today, should be signed tomorrow.

Thanks!

Yeah, I went back a little further and read things more closely and i see now it's happening. Great news.

I also saw where LD is now the priority - good news. Hope that happens as well.

Either way, here's to hoping we start off strong this year.

Absolutely. He can be (and has been) accused of many things but I can't see how anyone could fault him for effort.

He's always given a lot of effort but there was a burning fire in him on his loan spell. He just seemed more motivated and aggressive than he did in those last few months before the Tottenham move.
