The Super Tim Cahill Thread.

who is shorty?

He's either a player or coach at EFC cos he only ever comes up on NSNO once in a blue moon with little pieces of info, like who's in and out of the squad the day before a games and things like that and is very reliable with all that so if he says New York Red Bulls are in for Timmy, and that he's keen to go, then it must be true!.

Cahill as been a great servant to us and is regarded as a legend amongst fans, me included, and if he goes i wish him all the best and thank him for the memories but we both need to move on and hopefully we can get a decent fee for him so we can strengthen in the right wing position IMO.

Don't have time to read whole thread, but would love for this to be true, as Red Bulls are my MLS team. Was at the game vs Philly on Sat with the kids - would have loved to have seen him. MLS is a good move for him. The decreased competition will give his game a jolt, and as an Aussie, he should love NY. Also, I hate to say it, but his removal from Everton will help up as it will free up a spot for what are probably now at this point, better players (Naismith, Ossie, Barkley).

If we only bring in Naismith and Pienaar I will be fuming

Apparently all money that we bring in for sales is going to Moyesy to spend this summer.

Hopefully we can shift out Yobo and buy Pienaar (Shorty says he's expected back tomorrow!) back and then get summat decent for Cahill which could possibly help us sign someone like Matty Phillips or Weiss or maybe towards a loan deal or cheap upfront deal for Castaignos?.
