Alright lads no need for squabbling, it's happy days after all!

For what it's worth I would've given MOM to Pienaar (he put in one hell of a shift), so shows what I know! :)

Constant Running, he never stopped, i thought he couldve had oen or two shots though when he was on the edge of the box...He was good marking though, and getting back to defend. Bargain of a buy

Fernandes set up two so in a way he's contributed just as much as Yakubu. I don't think people are deluded for saying Fernandes was man of the match. He had a very good game and was our main creative force.

I can't really separate anyone today. I thought the team as a whole really took the game to Newcastle. An all round team performance for me.

No way I would make Yakubu MOM today, yes he has score 2 goals but one is from the spots and the other was created by Fernandes, his performance is only better than his recent form, not good enough for MOM!

I have to agree with the MOM player rating from Skysport for a change, Fernandes is the MOM for me!

ok, look at it from his side, hes about to sign for everton the next day, when a bigger, better club in spain offer him a contract with double the money, which one would you take if you were unbiased?

Everton, i would have given them my word and he was guest of honour of the chairman the day before.
The lad is scum and the amount of clubs he has had in such a career would seem to back up that his attitude stinks

Moyes is always right is he?

What a f&*king dumbass you are.

...and a hypocrite to boot.

You call out another member for not knowing as much a someone like Koeman on another thread (i.e. the manager knows more than you) but then OUR manager doesn't have very good sense?

I see another Halewood bannage in 5...4...3...2...

What are you talking about? he was looking to move on from his original parent club, so he has a loan spell in Portsmouth and they decide they couldn't afford the £12M price tag so he came to us for a loan spell.

And I have to agree with Dom of this matter, and he could have been a great player for his current club but the new manager have something between them in the past so he wasn't allow to play and there for he has to look for a move and now his parent is going to appoint a new manager, the new manager might decide he is the type of player he would used!

Fernandes is the type of player we are looking for, so we should sign him.
