I've gone back to playing SWTOR, simple brainless fun but some new rewards with a new toon. Tried D3 for the second time and lasted about a week before getting sick of it, sorry Dualz! Just lost the fun factor grinding the same area over and over.

Just bought Civiization 5....as Football Manager wasn't in the store...

Any other recommended strategy games ? Sports strategy or decent battle type games...

I am playing through D3 right now. I am enjoying it quite a bit, but it doesnt have that 'it' factor.

Yeah, I can go on for an hour and smash some stuff up, but beyond that bored and frustrated.

Ok I might just make a new thread for this eventually, but in the meantime EVERYONE START PLAYING DAYZ.

It's a zombie apocalypse, survival mod for the military sim ARMA 2. The mod is free, but you'd need to buy the original game obv.

The map is 225km2, you begin with some basic medical kit and need to scavenge food, water and weapons while dealing with zombies and - the often more dangerous - other players.

It's the most intense experience I've ever had in gaming, thanks in part to the 'permadeath' feature - basically if you die, you lose all your gear and have to start all over again.

It's still in alpha so there's the odd glitch and problem. Meeting up in-game with people you know is great fun too, though I usually just run around towns playing Thriller through voice chat...

It is. I have to put Sky Sports News on in the background so I don't freak out.
