judging by the responses to the last thread, most wont be too impressed but Yobo was back at Finch Farm today and trained

Mikel Arteta has trained with the other lads for the last two sessions

but Magaye Gueye has his foot in some kind of boot and might need surgery

Shame about Gueye, but good news on Mikel. The Yobo plot thickens!

Mystifises me why nobody wants Yobo. He's good enough still to get into our team - he'd improve Spurs and Arsenal as well I reckon and for a bargain price.

Not really a lack of performance as much as falling out with Moyes over commitment and international duties. For 2 or 3 million why aren't stoke, villa, west brom, blackburn, west ham, qpr, norwich etc coming out of the woodwork.

Surely it can't just be his wage demands.

The lad's got the talent, no doubt about that, but I think people have been put off by his feigned injuries and what seems to be a bit of a bad attitude (although the breakdown in his relationship with Moyes could well be the root cause, it still doesn't look good on the CV)

Think they respect Moyes' judgement over him.

If Moyes is wanting rid...it means they're badly gash - hence no takers for him or Yak

#Stalemate Fenerbahce & #EFC 1 million Euros off on a deal for Joseph Yobo. Fener are offering 2.5 million, & #EFC are asking 3.5m Euros.

Surely they should just meet in the middle. 3million euros aint bad for a player that hasn't played for us for 2 years

I know this guy seems to chat a lot of sh*t but if we turned down 2.5m and then failed to come to an agreement by Sept I'd fume.

Sell Jagielka for 10m and keep Yobo.

We'd be a better squad for it having invested the money on a winger and a RB.

except yobo never wants to play for us again and never should be allowed after what he did. i like the kid, think he is a good player but yeah im sure the two teams can agree on 3 mill, makes sence jeez. added onto the loan fees we got, we're probs making a small profit on him
