David Moyes has targeted both quality and quantity from the transfer market this summer.

He told evertonfc.com: “We do need to increase in numbers. Quality will always be first priority, but quantity is also required.


“I want us to be strong and I want us to progress and I think that we would need to have an even stronger squad from the start of this season.”

does this mean we will get a blend of players like Arshavin/ Kallstrom with the likes of Ledley and Barnes? Moyes is putting pressure on the board to get a decent budget this summer

ST id take every player you mention'd their. Hopefully your right an their will be top players coming in aswell as really good squad player for the future.
 

Finally Moyes has comes out and say what we all want to hear, and he simply tells Bill if you want Everton to finish in Top 4 and looking to win things we going to need quality player and a bigger squad, I have max the output with what you given me, can you match my ambition with more funding.

Come on Bill you have given faith in our manager, now you just have to match the fund needed for success.
 
How many young players will make the step up? Rodwell was on the bench a bit last year, Gosling would have been too. Can Lukas step up or Vidarsson or JPK or Baxter?
 
Well from the 10 first team midfielders we have two on loan- Gravesen and Manny who I both believe will be sent packing, Van De Meyde's contract is up and will be gone, Vidarrson hasnt yet broken through so that leaves 6! I really believe Carsley will be gone as well- he wants to finish his career in the midlands and with Derby interested I am sure he will be gone- so that equals 5!!!

We generally play 4-5-1 so thats the entire midfield playing! I really think we will see in the region of 4 midfield players signed this summer and maybe an extra defender and I think some keeper cover is essential. 6 Players In my opinion is what is needed as a minnimum.

Moyes has moved away from signing players that can just do a job to signing first teamers challenging for the first team week in week out.

Still has a year to run mate, lets hope we get shut though!
 
do you really believe that fat [Poor language removed] kw will give moyes a big budget this summer? well if everton want to progress, we need a bigger and better squad, not bigger in the sense of all [Poor language removed] players on the bench..but strength in depth, something that moyes has not quite fathomed out yet..but if we do not get the big names come summer, oh dear.

Got nothing to do with him mate, its kenwright who hold the purse strings, kw just handles the deals. But eh you found a lame excuse to have a go at a guy doing his job, you must feel very proud of yourself!

But then that fat little tarded [Poor language removed] from aberdeen is a liar a crook and a criminal, wonder why our board have him? nothing lame there, apart from our club have the biggest crook and liar in britain working for them.
 
its not about being no mate, its about the scum who are prepared to run out club into non existance, but i dont want to go there...i feel like everton won today, with that wigan win lol
