i just really hope we turn up for this one, it makes me wonder what the build up to the big games is like, do they try to keep the lads relaxed cos it seems they need shocking into action when important games come along, is there someone who tries to get them pumped up in the dressing room or is it all yoga and incense, they need some rousing music and someone who'll get em all fired up instead of coming out all lethargic. isn't carew a previous transfer target (was it walter smith) as thats usually a sign that they'll play a blinder.

barry young carew agbonlaor are the only players worh mentioning as being a danger.
i think our defence will be ok , but im worried about the pace of who ever plays right back for us.maybe both our fullbacks will be pinned back for long spells.
the way we have played recently may mean our wide men will be less likely to attack to compensate for villas pace.
villas defenders are a bunch who like to muscle there way through a game which will suit the yak.he wont get much of a sniff at goal but he will probably have a good game still.
as long as (presumably) carsley can get the better of barry in the middle of the pitch i think we should win this.

Think Villa has been in good form lately, and while those players mentioned are they only dangerous players on the team they are can be very very good (except for Carew).
I think again we will play concerative and try to win 1-0. Me not liking the Gabby vs Neville/Hibbo matchup though.
