Been thinking about Gibson recently and maybe we should get shot of him. Giovanni Trapattoni is a successful and well respected manager and he clearly thinks that Andrews and Whelan are better than Gibson, and tbh both are a bit shìt, which in turn makes us look low grade for playing garbage like Gibson.

How many games did he play for Sir Alex? They don't come much more successful and well respected than that....

Edit - Actually, upon further research I find the answer is just 31 in 4 seasons, so that's my point buggered right up. Ah well, thems the breaks.

How Gibson was not in the Ireland team is behond me!

Trapatoni has basically stuck with the players that got him that far in the first place which is admirable I guess.

I think you could throw Messi in the Ireland team though and they would still be crap right now.
