It's not so much who Everton as a club could attract but more who kenwrong would actually give the job to. He'd go for another yes man happy to finish mid table if it keeps his job well paid job secure.
The idea Moyes could end up Spurs manager is fanciful. He's not going to risk his cushy £3M pa for a job where he'll be out on his ear after 6 months if Spurs aren't playing the schilky fuschball and in the top three. It's absurd to believe he'd even be offered it; he's too meat and potatoes for their taste. If George Graham couldn't hack it, Moyes wouldn't.
whose fault is it he's only come close though mate, I can think of two occasions at wembley were he shut up shop, invited pressure onto us, and we got beat 2-1 after taking the lead, also utterly sick of getting tanked by thr RS.
If Paul Lambert was still available and we had a good chance of getting him, I would have no problem with Moyes leaving.
Surely the fact that Villa, with all their problems, got Lambert proves that being an established premier league club attracts managers by itself.
Yeah I think your right, that's why I don't understand our fans who say their is no one better than Moyes to be our manager.

Paul Lambert over Daivd Moyes? - a peice of this forum just died.
*Owen Coyle this time last year!
Paul Lambert over Daivd Moyes?
Nobody actually said that. It was just an example of a 'hot' manager joining a club without much money to spend or much chance of trophies because they're an established premier league club and that means something.
I rate Lambert but I'm not crying for us to bring him in, by any means.
That doesnt make sense to me mate, you dont want Lambert at Everton but are happy we could attract a manager of that ilk. A Lambert, Rodgers or Coyle.
All three of those managers went to clubs in much worse positions then we are therefore surely we could get someone better.
