A man who has just last week said 25% of transfers working is success.

A man who spent 500m at West Ham and left them 4 points above chaotic point deduction Everton with the oldest squad in the league.

I didn't mind the gritty knife to gunfight thing for a while when we were completely broke, but like many, wished he pushed on and developed the squad and tactics. Now that he has some money he seems to want to spend it on handy knife wielders rather than develop the squad to be competitive.

Most of the lads gave it a good go today, but I can't watch Moyes build a team of groks with no eye on good football or the future again next season, and what happened to the one good virtue he had - a good defence ? He has enough players devoted to defensive work.

Let's wait and see if the owners have any ambition or even enjoy football.

Yep...100 millions is nothing nowadays...expecting the promoted club to spend that and more in the coming season. We need a big investment this summer...we added squad depth last summer, now this summer we need to add quality...

With all the talk of how positive a season it has been, including from the manager himself, I'd say we're about evens odds from finishing the season with just 2 more points than the previous two seasons.

Interesting how much D Moyes has to control the narrative, but thems the facts.
