Well he’s typing so defo the latter. Only had flu twice I believe, wished I was dead both times
blackcurrant jakemans.
heinz chicken soup.
a couple of mad hot baths.
lots of bed rest, lots of water. (hot vimto if you like).
careful with lemsip and similar cold remedies if you are also taking paracetamol and ibuprofen as the remedies contain powdered paracetamol already.
turn the nagging/mither down and try to get some god damned sleep.

Joeys super strength edibles.
Hot whiskey (More is better), hot bath with vapour salts, deep heat on the muscles for ache and pain relief, plenty of complaining (To fellow males only) and make plans for lots of beer for when you feel better.
I should have also added a bowl vegetable broth soup and/or irish stew always helps. A squirt of brown sauce in both is a must.
