I would have snapped your hands off for a draw before kick-off but for me Illi was the culprit with so many missed /greedy chances to put the game to bed . We could have kept the press happy with our surge for Europe ! Good old Moyesy had a brainfart changing the side and look what happened ,back to normal next game . Tim and Röhl will be on the bench .

Arsenal and the European chasers the big winners last night, as draw doesnt really help either side.

Great character in second half, which leaves me frustrated to why we turn up for 30 mins.

All of our chances came from pressuring City and forcing into errors; but we didnt do that in the first half, which was criminal.

Europe 2pts away, but feel were going to need 7 from 9 to even get there, long battle ahead.

Thankful so I missed the game, back down under atm.
With a sunnier disposition can only but feel that there are players in this team that will and harness these last minute 'defeats' amongst themselves.
Can help but also feel that JB's class might have been the example needed for more composure and sense amongst some of the others. Sounds like some amateurish plays were made near the end.

Didn’t see any of the game as it was on too late and I had to be up early where I am.
But I saw the result and was relieved we didn’t get beat. But reading the match reports and watching highlights it seems we shot ourselves in the foot.
We should have won it mate. Ndiaye, what a player, but he could or should have had two or three yesterday, and then it's dead and buried.

He's exactly the player you want in those situations, however they're straight at the keeper and arguably a pass was on for at least one of them.

Their second goal is criminal defending: it looked awful in real time, and watching it back makes me cringe. Their equaliser... meh.

We all knew that Oliver would keep the clock going. But there's lots of positive to take from it, and the atmosphere when we scored was immense.

This will be the game where we had Europe in our hands and we chucked it away. You need your top end players to be clinical in those vital moments, unfortunately for us illy decided last night was the night he'd try and mimic St Maxim and produce erratic finishes and moments. Keane and Tarkwoski is simply unforgivable. One of the best strikers in Europe and neither of them alert enough to make sure that situation didnt happen.

They scored 2 absolute worldies, yet Pickford didnt have a save to make yet i think of about 3 more situations for us where it was easier to score than to balls it up.

Europe’s still within our grasp… Don’t feel disheartened just yet, Macca.
