2025/26 David Moyes

He won one…the same cup that Palace win this summer likely as the conference league is easy for an English team to win

I’m not talking about west ham Look at his attempts at trying to win cups this year…how did that work out

Di Matteo won the champions league does that mean that the champions league should be won by a English club every season?

Wolves was a shocker ill give you that but in the fa cup we were knacked by injuries and we got to pens but out players ballsed them up

The one thing you can't criticise the manager for us the comedy defending by our two centre halves on the Haaland goal. Unacceptable goal to concede.
You can though, because he has them too nice.

Just chop him as soon as he gets it. If need be then defend your two goal lead with 10 men.

This is down to the manager.

Full stop.

Conceding straight from a kick off because your 2 centre halves fall asleep and let the best goalscorer in world football run clear is unacceptable defending. Both defenders equally at fault.

He’s now overseen 18 league games in our shiny new ground that has seen us concede injury time goals to our neighbours and City, fail to beat relegation battling Wolves, West Ham and Leeds, get thrashed by Brentford, Newcastle and Spurs. Plus a pathetic performance to get dumped out of the fa cup at home. Tonight is the tip of the iceberg of a totally unacceptable return of results in what was supposed to be a change in fortunes. I’d have Glasner or Iraola over Moyes in the summer. show some ambition Everton.

Yeah...and one of them was in range to hack Haarland down and he didn't do it because they're boy scouts and not winners...because the manager isn't a winner.

Yeah, and hows that worked out for them?

Enjoy the championship west ham

Just because the owners made the wrong decisions, doesnt mean the fans were wrong. Remember a portion of our fans wanting to stick with Dyche as apparently in their eyes nobody could do a better job with the team. Moyes come in and blew that theory out of the water.

Expecting as to come out and try and outplay Man City though.. come on now.

Counter attacking against them gives a far better chance of winning at our current phase of rebuild. We simply dont have the squad to be trying to outclass them (for now)

I didnt say outplay them. We cant pass the ball well enough. But we can go out with a plan to try and win the game. I didnt see that. The only belief I seen came via a City mistake.

If you dont go into a game believing you have a chance of winning whats the point. All I seen at first was akin to an attack v defence training drill. Give the ball back and go again. We need a plan for when we win the ball that isnt what looks like a general "just try to counter"
