2025/26 David Moyes

Last thing I will add to the thread for a bit; they entire game was David Moyes in a nutshell. Scared of the big 4, gets you a result out of nowhere on occasion and still bottles it at the finish. Im glad of the many things hes done for us, but next season a fresh approach. Its been too many years.

We had 14 shots with 6 on target against arguably the best side in the league. Not sure what else he could have done.

Honestly when do some of you get tired of saying ‘we could have won’ ‘if rhe ref had given this’ ‘if Ndiaye had finished’ ‘we nearly beat the league leaders’ ‘play like that and next time we win’.

How many decades needs to pass of the same thing happening before you realise it never happens?

I should have put my mortgage on us throwing that away from 3-1 because it was the most predictable Everton thing ever.

Utterly baffling substitutions.

Not good enough.

Just GTF.
Give over lad.
Draw only because of 2 wonder goals . I
If we had half their attacking quality we would be in Europe. But that costs big bucks.
Doesn't make subs gets criticised and makes subs gets criticised.
No win mate.
What bothers me more is the way we switched off for the second gosl and that's not on Moyes.

Everybody calm your tits down, before Moyes came back we were on the brink of relegation every year, the fact that people are crying over us missing out on Europe shows the progress we've made in such a short space of time.

Is he the long term answer? Probably not, but the constant pitchforks for Moyes is proper bad crab behavior.

At home, zero expectation.

We'll come close, but be unlucky.

Thought you’d be buzzing. Your gaffer loved a draw

I think we hold on tonight the momentum takes you to Europe now!!

Potentially 11th and more Monday night footy

How have they blown that
The joy of beating one of the top sides in Europe would have given us such a boost. And we deserve a boost.

But no.

But this is the price of #stability at all costs. The whole club is afraid to take a chance when it presents itself. 3-1 up and 10 minutes left? Let's throw it away.

Not sure you can blame Moyes for any of the late goals we’ve conceded in the last 3 games, all have come from mistakes or bad defending.
When Rohl has been arguably our best player, taking him off is a very odd decision. That’s on the manager. Last minute corner against Liverpool, last minute corner not cleared today. We’ve got one of the tallest teams in the league and had conceded a ridiculous number of goals from corners. That’s on the manager.
