I'd certainly want a new manager to be getting notably higher points totals than the one we had already. This sudden idea that cups are more important than the league is insane. Glasner has a perfectly decent league record, but the positions and qualifications you're telling me about aren't in a different league to things Moyes's teams have done. He has won more trophies than Moyes, but every trophy has its own context. Playing Liverpool for Palace has a million different meanings to playing Liverpool for Everton, as you should know.
Given we have no full backs, sounds like a plan...

You knew what was going to happen there, Moomin. Any manager you suggested was going to be unobtainable or vastly inferior to Moyes. It's what they do. Only Moyes would touch the diseased carcass that is Everton FC as far as the zealots are concerned. It's a weird flex as it simultaneously suggests that Moyes is the best manager in the galaxy but also is the only person that will take such an unattractive role and so is the least worst option.
