Summer transfer window.

Great to see Bank Holiday meltdown has already started over the most repetitive links in world football, from the most high profile sites..
I think it's more the regularity of links with older players combined with Moyes' proclivity to sign and, more importantly, play more experienced players that just gets people down. I don't think anyone thinks we're going to sign all of Stones, McGinn, Trippier, Wilson, Wilson, Ake etc, etc... However, I think we probably all suspect we'll sign one or two of them.

Im not sure we'll sign any of them.

But we know as pretty much as close to a fact that you can get that we went in for McGinn & Soucek last summer.

I'll be amazed if we don't sign at least one or two oldies with the fabled "premier league experience" on big wages and with a sizeable fee in the summer. We're definitely going to sign Grealish, for example, and he'll be on £200k a week or thereabouts and will probably draw an eight figure transfer fee on top of that. So with wages and fee you're probably looking at somewhere in the £50m range for three years of Grealish. Let's hope he can stay fit, eh?

With regards to Ben White? We definitely need an RB but whoever we sign, I want that person to be a different profile to White.

We have the CB-playing-RB profile already in Jake O’Brien. I like JOB a lot and think he will make a fine CB. You could argue that White has better technical ability but I don’t feel either are a natural right back.

Put a Seamus Mk2 into our starting VI, who can bomb up and down, crossing accurately and at will, particularly from the byline, and we are a different animal.
I absolutely love Seamus. He was such a good player but, let's have it right, his crossing was God awful. He was good at the cut-back. His crossing was really poor for an attacking full back. Other than that, brilliant player though.

Max Alleyne looked out of his depth in the couple of appearances for the Sportwashers this season Zat

Was decent against Brighton I thought and looks the part to become a good player. Two footed and good at passing with either foot.

He's the sort I think we could do with and benefit from the experienced players.

Unlikely as I'd expect City to want to keep him.
