Don't forget Moyes LOVES height in his side, even though we rarely score headers from set pieces and are atrocious at defending our box when the opposition swings in crosses!Since when is John Stones a right back

Overrated and there is somrthing about him that just doesnt seem like he would fit in at EvertonBen White would be right back.
You have to bear in mind he`s just started for the Arse there in the Champs League semi, so I`d say it`s deffo a position he can play in !
HahaBen White would be an excellent signing.
i was wondering who posted this: apparently there is NOTHING we agree upon Tbf that ipaper guy has got a lot of good info since TFG came in. Seems to have a personal connection to someone at the club.

I've got a horrible feeling that the Ake and White links are accurate. That Moyes will want two CBs who can play as FBs on their respective sides, are big (compared to actual full backs), older, and have lots of PL experience, as opposed to the proper, attacking FBs we need.

I think Kayode will have higher suitors than us Zat and Lewis-Skelly isn't a natural left back despite playing there for Arsenal as he's seen more as a central midfielder though he'd still be decent at left back so I dunno what I'm on aboutI remember thinking this but other posters said hes got nothing right?
He did say we had £200mil available last summer to spend.
Now saying Moyes wanted experience to push on for europe in Jan but they elected not to spend.
A bit odd unless theyre unhappy with the new signings useage?
This calendar year hes been their week link.
We can assume this is the case but I'm still hoping for Lewis-Skelly & Kayode![]()
I’m not sold on George, TBH. He’s bright and twitchy but at £20m+, I think we can do better [not that I have a shortlist of alternatives to roll off the tongue].I'd be after Monga from them who was playing for England u19s as a (still) 16 year old. He didnt look out of place at all.
I'd bring him in, he'll know Lukjanciks and Armstrong from the England u19s.
Yes agreed.
I began thinking Watkins would be a bad idea.
Then I went full OAP with the trio of Grealish, Bowen & Watkins. With Barry, George & Dibling to rotate and gradually replace them...
Seems logical as Moyes would have the youth conveyor belt behind the experienced former England players
Finally I came to the same conculusion as you. Even the best laid plans would be ignored by Moyes and he'd be telling us having u21s sitting on the bench for 3years "wont do them any harm".
Not for me, i'll PM you.
He's been their weak link whenever I've seen Arsenal play.
Stones clearly going to be a big risk fitness wise.
I'd like to see us go big on a right back + left back + DM + sign George.
Au contraire au contraire.Overrated and there is somrthing about him that just doesnt seem like he would fit in at Everton

Proper depressing that and doesn't indicate that we have changed at all as a club under TFG.

I could see why they’d want Delap, although I wouldn’t sign him
