2025/26 David Moyes

Thin beer when your biggest gripe is he hasn’t played Dibling, who has largely been anonymous on the pitch, more often.
Good to see you back mate, you've taken a good 90 page battering since Saturday.
I will admit I did throw out a few Smackdowns your way, but you did get a bit to vocal in your Interviews..

I have started to cool down now though, but you've got to stop toking on the Soucek pipe..

I’ve missed you too.

Biggest gripe is his mentality actually. When we need to be more assertive with European football within our reach he still can't take the handbrake off and gives too much respect to teams like West Ham who are going to be vulnerable in the position they're in to a team that puts them under pressure

Mate. Let's be honest, no-one would give a fig about that if the season wasn't tailing off like a wet fart..

Man City up next. Let's see what we can do! 💪
Everyone was quite content at the start of the season to be looking for mid table with middling 50 points. Which we are still on target for.

This despite not having played a RB all season and starting Keane in nearly every match.

If I was a young and talented (I am neither of these things) footballer and David Moyes’ Everton came in for me I would have nothing to do with him given how he has treated the young players under his watch and his recent comments. I wouldn’t want to be sat on a bench for a year watching mediocre players being picked in front of me. We have either wasted 10s of millions of pounds on poor players or the manager is wrong in not giving them a proper chance. I am all for buying a player or two for the future but when every penny counts we need to buy for now.

I remember when Southampton got promoted under Nigel Adkins. He'd done a great job for them and they stood a good chance of consolidating a position in the Premier League. I was outraged when they sacked him and replaced him with some bloke I'd never heard of called Mauricio Pocchetino. What ever happened to that guy.

Moyes is Nigel in this story in case you hadn't guessed, difference being Nigel was/is a nice bloke.

That was then. Things change!

But we all know the talking points well enough by now and repeat ourselves.

You say this but who is on the bench watching mediocre players in front of them? Because Rohl is not as good as the other centre mids, and Dibling has performed worse than McNeil when given minutes.

I think it's quite clear that Gana needs to be phased out. I also don't think Dibling has been given enough of a fair chance. McNeil has been at the club for multiple seasons, he's going to be more fine tuned into how we play and the other players than Dibling and he hasn't performed. We also tried to sell him in January. Neither Gana or McNeil have been very good recently and I think it's fair to try and phase Rohl and Dibling in a bit more than we have considering neither of the others have a future at Everton.

Plenty of stories like this. Also O'Neil at Bournemouth being replaced by Iraola.
