Yup. Even so, we were looking like winning until the sending off, which Reid vehemently protested should not happen. Everton seemed to just fold from then on, as United started playing like men possessed.

I still believe we would have won only for that sending off.
 
As good as he was at Soccer he was a better Gaelic Footballer.

Played with some of his nephews coming up, his family owned/own a corner shop shop in Drimnagh and are a real part of that community, lovely people.
Good to see the modern footballers finally getting an important result this evening. Maybe there is hope after all despite a poor League campaign.

Just in the door from Portlaoise mate, we might not have the players any more but a performance to be proud of tonight. Wasn’t expecting it to be honest.

Rarely talked about but Heffo culled the half back line in 75 after the Kerry ambush, Moran came in and the rest is history, arguably revolutionised how half backs attack.

I was thinking of going over (we live in Kilkenny), but domestic matters kept me at home.

I'll certainly try to get to the final.
