Wouldn't say the mark up was insane to be honest. If it's your type of thing (it's not mine) it's actually decent value I reckon. I haven't checked for the dates in question but first class train to London and a night in the 4 seasons at a weekend is probably about a grand booking it yourself without any of the other stuff.

why would it be for tourists if it includes first class rail travel from liverpool to london?

Why don't you find out if this package is taking seats originally set aside for away fans with credits before throwing a hissy fit.
