Summer transfer window.

Says who Zat, give one legit link

You're asking me to link the common knowledge of Moyes enquiring for McGinn or the rumoured £18mil bid we made?

Both of which are freely available with a google search or vaults here.

You do realise that we don't pay all up front - Barry was $27 million, equal payments over the life of his contract

You seem to forget this when you are adding your famous lists of players no one has heard of who play from Springfield under 12's but not when you are having a pop at the manager!

Well, you certainly don't realise much do you?

- Barry was not $27mil
- Barry's payments are not evenly split

0/2 Fail.

We were after him in the summer
Indeed ;)

Let the press briefing begin:

From today’s Athletic…..

I see Bayern have said, “I’m sorry, Nick Jackson” - and are not taking up the option to make his move permanent.

Of the two, I would rather take a chance on him than Delap, I think.
What are Chelsea paying him ?

I can see him heading Saudi/Turkey ( Or are Saudi now gradually pulling away from the big cash grabs )

In my little fantasy world this is where I would be with the squad in the summer if everyone was fully fit and available.

Keepers - No issues there for me, no signings needed.

Defenders - Priority positions along with striker. We need to sign a LB and RB. Not too opposed to Coleman sticking on for another year if we need extra cover. I would also be trying to buy a starting CB due to Branthwaite injury.

Midfield - We have a decent selection there actually but I think we need to sign a more creative force in that RCM slot that can start.

Wingers - I think Ndiaye is better on the left but I also think we will try to get Grealish to come back so the idea is likely to have them two as our starting wingers again. I'd prefer Ndiaye on the left and for us to sign a good RW.

Striker - I'd try to loan Barry out and bring in a starting striker. Beto I'd keep because we need players with his type of attitude around the squad. Players that will graft and want to do well. That attitude is infectious.

Loan out - Barry.

Sell - McNeil, Timmy, Myko, Patterson.

I think Gana might retire post WC and I'd say thank you and move on.

Wilson
Soucek
McGinn

All Moyes targets in the last 2 windows.

Oh dear.
Of the 3, you could argue, if you we're determined to, that McGinn would offer a short term upgrade on Gueye for maybe 2 or 3 seasons but not at the costs mentioned.

Soucek is baffling, he scores less than KDH, lacks Garners passing range and is less mobile than Gueye. And we've got back up in Rohl and Iroegbunam. He would be a downgrade at significant cost.

And Wilson.
