Right so because you've used AI to source information rather than actually knowing what you're talking about, and the AI has fed you similar talking points to what I've been saying that means I must be using AI.

And I'm the one getting called gramps ffs.

Talking about the quality not the entertainment value Swartzy. Name me the teams who are playing to their level or above this season? If you can name more than 5 I'd be amazed. Look at the 'champions' league. RS, Cheatsea outclassed by PSG, Newcastle humbled by Barcelona, Spurs humbled by Atletico and the Sportwashers humbled by a non vintage Real Madrid team
I get that, It could do with a fresh sprinkle of quality. But as a whole I prefer a non predictable league..

When it comes to Europe, look how many teams change their league fixtures to suit them.

By the measure of the sides that are usually expected to occupy the european places have underperformed (Spurs, Newcastle, Cheatsea and even the RS)
That's arguably a measure that the traditionally weaker sides have got stronger and the overall difficulty to win points has gone up. Sides traditionally at the top no longer have the luxury of getting things wrong and still coasting into CL qualifying places. The margins are tighter.

Drop off in Europe was very noticeable, RS, Newcastle, Sportwashers, Cheatsea and Spurs were all knocked out after being schooled. Arsenal have had a cakewalk draw so far
Noticeable drop off in Europe? I'm not really seeing much evidence of that to be fair.

City aside the specific teams you mention have all arguably improved in Europe this season. Of course Chelsea and Spurs won the Europa and Conference respectively but given you describe Arsenal's run in the CL this season as a 'cakewalk' then I doubt you'd rate the teams in those particular cups.

The RS
25/26 CL Quarter Final - 24/25 CL Round of 16 - 23/24 Europa Quarter Final - 22/23 CL 1st Knockout Round

Newcastle
25/26 CL Round of 16 - 24/25 No European Competition - 23/24 CL Group Stage - 22/23 No European Competition

Man City
25/26 CL Round of 16 - 24/25 CL Knockout Phase PlayOff Round - 23/24 CL Quarter Final - 22/23 CL Winners

Chelsea
25/26 CL Round of 16 - 24/25 Conference League Winners - 23/24 No European Competition - 22/23 CL Quarter Final

Spurs
25/26 CL Round of 16 - 24/25 Europa League Winners - 23/24 No European Competition - 22/23 CL Round of 16

The country co-efficient of England / Premier League is still comfortably outperforming other European leagues.

Yes, congratulations on this hilarious and worthwhile use of a technology which is one of the worlds largest sources of carbon dioxide emissions and will eventually kill us all.
Hi mate, from that im guessing you live in harmony with nature, eschew all consumption and avoid all technology that relies on mass use of data and data centres, such as the Internet and posting on GOT?

I rather fancy this is you in your eco idyll...

Chances of getting rid and upgrading are slim, to say the least. More likely to get the Rosenior experience than the Arteta experience. Funny how someone like Arteta rates Moyes highly (among most of his former players) yet some fans don't. Often its people who don't understand the sporting side and just want their team to play open, which if actually implemented usually ends in suboptimal results for weaker teams.
Big guy’s not going to be with us forever, as he himself says.

So we’re going to have to chow down on that particular sheeyote sandwich sooner or later.

Who would be your choice when the time comes, out of interest?

I dunno - see where we are in three years. Maybe Baines will be ready by then.

I've said the quality of football is lower, apart from Bayern and PSG I don't see any others who are at vintage levels of days before
