The way Liverpool approach a game against us is very different to how they approach it against those other teams.
Pity we cant say the same thing isn't it?

Sadly I think our derby record is going to be crap until we get better players. As I said before, it's not like we're up against a mid table team here that we should be beating.

Two of those teams are in European semi finals. That'd have some credibility if they hadn't been beaten by Palace, Brentford, Forest, B'mouth. Wolves and Brighton.
I mean i’m over Sydney now…it just wouldn’t have workedSorry for all that (especially the Sydney Sweeney thing)
We got beat today because of the manager and if we want to improve, he's got to change or we need to change him, if we're to progress. Teams do progress. Just look at city. We are progressing off the pitch, but it will take time. The 90s and 00s killed us a club to the point where it would be a miracle if we ever regularly compete against them again. None of that was down to the players or manager, it's how we were run off the pitch.
It wasn't three seasons of near relegation though was it. Dyche's first full season was mid table and we only got close to the relegation zone because of the points deduction. Last season was nowhere close to relegation. So that's effectively two seasons of mid table finishes before this season. Let's see exactly where we finish at the end of this season and then we can fully judge it.I would say that looking at Europe after three seasons of near relegation was progression but we'll probably never agree and I'm too pissed off after today to have a long argument.

I still don't believe at all that those players were close to first choice targets. So don't leave the guy who was in charge of transfers, Moyes running the club. Keep hearing Moyes will make steady progress but reality is if you throw £100m up the wall every summer you will soon start going backwards.

I think the minute Barry came on we completely stopped looking like scoring. I don't think he really believes if one team was going to score it would be us.
