Summer transfer window.

If we don’t get Europe we’ve got a battle on our hands keeping hold of Ndiaye. I’m sure he was pleased to read Moyes comments in the week about how long it will take us to improve.
If we are forced to sell him, our track record in investing money from big transfer fees is at best, woeful.
Ultimately he has a 3 year contract to honour. Unless there's a minimum fee release clause then he's staying. Billionaire owners, new stadium, bought him for around £16 million.

So if he kicks off, dump him in the reserves until he apologises and returns to play. Or he can enjoy not playing football for 3 years.

If another club makes an offer that meets the clubs valuation e.g., £80 million. Then fair enough.

This is the most likely scenario if we don’t get Europe. My concern is I have absolutely no faith in our recruitment team signing a player good enough to replace him.

Imagine saying Everton is a club where its best to build gradually?

Its bizarre.
I’m looking forward to another summer where our recruitment team are caught by surprise by the transfer window opening, followed by weeks of excuses about how hard it is to make signings because of the World Cup, followed by weeks more of us chasing a youngster from a relegated side or the championship for twice as much as what anyone else was willing to pay. Then Paddy Boyland writes a lengthy article about what a coup it is for Everton to sign this promising youngster. Followed by a season on the bench with Moyes telling everyone they need to show more in training. And we finish 12th.
Tells the media Dibling needs to score goals and never gives him 1 min after.

In and out all season with no real chance.

Aznou says hi.

Love Ndiaye but for £80mil thats a big amount in our situation.

We should probably sell for that but as fans were all worried that Moyes will waste it.

No one is paying 80m for ndiaye or close to it.

Can't have same people/process as last season.

Might be premature and Dibling, Barry, Aznou, Rohl all come good but it looks last season was an almighty £100m mess.

We needed players to compete for first team positions straight away, not kids that were going to sit on the bench.

Ultimately down to Moyes. He has final say and was the person who wanted Thelwell out - despite much better recruitment.
