Very poor. The quality shown throughout by Dewsbury-Hall and N’Diaye was not replicated by their teammates. Barry was beyond dreadful. Just stick N’Diaye up top because of Beto’s injury and play George and Dibling as we have nothing to lose.

Beto injury was the end for us. If nothing else, he won the first header at every corner in the first half. Barry, sheesh. George.

These are the games that make you just hate yourself.

I think a little space from the result, we were on top of them for most of the game. It reminds me the last Arsenal match we are trading punches with bigger sides but just struggling to finish out matches. Our striker options aren’t great, Myko marking terribly for the first, but these are things we know. A good summer and games like this easily could go the other way comfortably.

That said the corner goal is just Konate boxing out Jordan to avoid him getting to the ball. Someone can say it’s just sour grapes but this trash football and the league needs to step in. Arsenal is the biggest culprit but it’s all over the division. Just boxing out keepers for corners builds all these tactical incentives that are both boring and against the spirit of the sport IMO.
