A perfect example of why proactive management is so important. All of Liverpool’s best moments coming from one spot on the field and that spot is the one being occupied by Dwight McNeil. Now I know McNeil hadn’t done anything specifically to be dropped. But this was a game against a high level team with a lot of athletic players that was always going to be high intensity and it doesn’t suit a player who struggles to play at a PL intensity on the slowest of days. This was foreseeable and the manager was not proactive in dealing with it. We’re not behind here if he had.

I’m just begging him to fix it at halftime. It might now be too late.

For all McNeil has been good since he came back into the side, he’s chosen the wrong game to revert to looking like he’s not really bothered and giving away a really sloppy pass that leads to a goal.
He just looks so slow to everything. His reaction time and alertness is awful. Get George on.

Come on, call me a kopite...you know you want to. Pardon me for expecting players to shoulder 'kin responsibility but no, it's the ref and Moyes' fault.
Mate I don’t call people kopites. I’m just saying O’Brien stays on side we are at least level, then if Beto can at least shoot on target it could be 2-1. We’ve had other chances too.
